At the monthly meeting of the Lincroft Fire Company on October 4, 2024, we were honored to celebrate the 98th Birthday of our most senior member, George Richdale. George has been a member of the company for seventy years and continues to contribute today. George was chief of the Middletown Township Fire Department in 1974 and was instrumental in developing the Middletown Township Fire Academy, which is regarded as one of the best training facilities in New Jersey. He is also one of the founding members of the Lincroft First Aid and Rescue Squad where he committed countless years protecting and helping the community. Chief Richdale has been a respected leader for seven decades and continues to set an example of what it means to be a dedicated volunteer. Happy Birthday Chief!
